This is kinda problem from security perspective. It won't receive security patches (outside of EU).

Even within the EU you have to enroll for the extended security updates, it's not automatic. I had to fiddle with the registry on my gf's pc to make the link appear.

Hopefully she'll agree to try linux eventually.
