There’s an amnesiac in the anesthesia you’ll receive. You won’t remember a thing. And I had a similar surgery a little over a year ago. Septoplasty and FESS as a result of a severely deviated septum (70%) and an antibiotic-resistant chronic maxillary sinus infection.
Recovery took about three days of being on pain meds, then Tylenol afterwards.
The worst part was sleeping upright for a few days, but as far as pain? Pain was not an issue at all. Seriously… I’ve had more painful stubbed toes.
Trust me- when it’s over, toil feel as silly as I did for panicking- and I was half-way out of my entire mind with worry.
It was nothing at all.
