For a good many Brits (and wannabe Brits around the world), just being inbred in the right ways means they are worthy of worship and can do no wrong.

Also, the royals people DO actually like (like Lizzie) went above and beyond to protect the pedophile so it would reflect poorly on them if he actually DID rape all them kids. So obviously it is fake news,
