Team Amiga all the way!
Sad that us Americans never really got to enjoy either. Amiga certainly had a presence. But compared to the IBM PC clones their penetration was low. So many fun and unique computer systems throughout Europe. Compared to boring old IBM PC.
I was living in Tasmania when they were the in thing. We were definitely more influenced by British culture than American back then. I was a regular reader of several UK Amiga magazines at the time. Amiga games were far superior to NES games imo, and PC games were still only 16 colour.
Yeah actually for a while in the 90's Amiga was headquartered around here. Always wanted one. But by the time I had money for such a thing the market had moved on. Definitely watching with interest what Chris/Perry and the crew are doing with the commodore at the moment.
Looks like the rivalry is still alive
