The root of the issue should come as no surprise when even on this site most of the recent struggle sessions have been about incels and male dating habits.

Agreed. This issue is rooted in the underlying dynamics of the societies these organizations come from. For example, sex pest cults instead of proper parties grow out of reading groups in the USA because the USA is a sex pest cult society. Learning about "leftism" or whatever doesn't automatically separate people from their society of origin. For the same reason, the US "left" (again, for example) is full of imperialists and radlibs.
