I'm wondering if there have been any notable cases historically where a criminal blackmailed a innocent person to confess to that criminals crime.

There was a story a couple years ago of a police officer making a mentally disabled person admit to a crime they didn't commit because he has been grilled by the cop for several hours and just wanted to leave and get his medication.
