Yep! I have an XLR to USB adapter. It's a pain to use though, because I have to squeeze the lever for it to transmit. I think of it as a irl push to talk.
“think of it as”? It is literally a Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch, which has been a feature of that Astatic mic for >70 years
Yep, that would have originally had a been used for a radio transceiver and the push to talk would also trigger the radio to go from receive to transmit. You could rewire it to bypass the switch since your using it as a USB mic.
It's on my list. I'll get to it one day. As it is, it gets used maybe once a month
