It doesn't matter how burned out or stressed you are, when a toddler waves at you from the back of their parents car, you slap a smile on that face, pretend your life's alright and wave back. (sh.itjust.works)

Other than mine, I've never noticed a toddler waving to me from the back of a car, but at least once I've been eating junk food while driving and noticed an adjacent dog tracking me very closely.
