Did you sew a matching patch on the other side of the fabric? Did you consider putting the patch only on the inside?
I've not sewn a repair patch before, so I'm curious.
I didn't put any on the inside as I could feel them when I tried, the pants aren't tight I'm just really particular about the feel of what touches my skin.
These pants have basically been a learning platform for patching things lol
I hadn't done any patches before this pair of pants and at this point I'm getting pretty quick and good at it. There's some seams that I can still stitch up (somehow, I'll figure it out) but they're improving.
Awesome, thank you! I feel you on the inside patches, I just worry about stabilizing the pants enough to avoid the holes growing.
