Why didn't this guy seek asylum in a reputable country after the first time they tried to deport him?
No idea but people need to understand that unless you are citizen, they can legally remove you for any reason.
Shit even if you are citizen, they can shoot you like a dog and nothing will happen 80% of the time unless you are a likable victim.
Also, legality has no bearing any more. They're already disappearing citizens.
That was allegedly by mistake but with Antifa decree, they will be doing it for sport
