There's only 2 rules that I can think of right now
Rule 1: Don't ridicule
Rule 2: Don't be an arsehole
If you can think of anything else let me know. Cheers.

They're pretty nice to eat and healthy too, but there's a convenience fee for them :<
I find that it makes it hard to justify having them super often because then the math looks really bad comparing to just buying beans (etc) in bulk and doing some DIY flavo(u)ring (plus figuring out storage).
Convenience fee is putting it mildly. That's like 10c worth of chick peas/kidney beans. To charge that much for them is borderline robbery.
Its 100% convenience fee but if it keeps me away from a spew truck it has done its job.
@Nath, Are you talking about soaking the chickpeas the night before? I used to do that in giant tubs when I was younger and worked in a restaurant, but there's no way I'm remembering to do that for a small snack the next day. Are people really this functional?
Hahaha no. But a regular 400+ gram tin of chickpeas is around the same price on its own.
They're reducing the peas by three quarters and adding a dollop of dressing, but charging the same price.
Good point, but it kinda comes down to how much value you put on your time, and what volume of beans you're going to eat. To save on the time spent doing all that prep work, and finding storage like you said, I'd happily buy a lot of cans of beans, it's not like my family is going through hundreds of cans a week.
On top of that, I can chuck a few of these in my work bag, find them 9 months later, and eat them with pretty high confidence they're not going to kill me.
