"When Foreign Companies who are building extremely complex products, machines, and various other 'things,' come into the United States with massive Investments, I want them to bring their people of expertise for a period of time to teach and train our people how to make these very unique and complex products, as they phase out of our Country, and back into their land," the president posted on Truth Social, adding “I don’t want to frighten off or disincentivize Investment into America by outside Countries or Companies. We welcome them, we welcome their employees, and we are willing to proudly say we will learn from them.”

This rivals some famous youtuber non-apologies. This sounds more threatening and insulting than apologetic.

"I don't want to disencentivise investment into America". But that's exactly what you did and you had no thought put into your actions except to catch more "illegals" and try to make an example out of a large corporation.

Nobody thought to use any brakes. Nobody knew that we could crash. At least inside of ICE and this administration.

My dad worked for a German company and he got laid off following this event. I am positive that this company is going to withdraw from the US market entirely over the next 6 months. Like, I doubt that even CEOs feel safe entering the country for official business at this point.

This one raid may have blown it for basically all foreign investment. It is so bizarre to just, like, READ it on a website, knowing that this ONE event is going to be the first domino to fall on a very dark chapter ahead. :/ I feel like I’m in the beginning credits montage of a zombie movie.
