Why are you so weird? Why would you @ the person you're replying to? Why do you add hashtags in your comments?

I think they're not sending the comments from Lemmy but from Mastodon instead, there is cross-platform compatibility but you get these strange formatting quirks since we don't use silly hashtags or @ around here (which is part of why this format is obviously superior imho).
