Um Ackshually, it's the first Monday in September over here. This year that just happens to be Sep 1.

It really screwed up the recognition of International Bacon Day, which is celebrated on the Saturday before Labor Day in the US but the first Saturday in September in other jurisdictions. But that's OK, because we get two excuses to eat Bacon this year.
