Beautiful birds with an incredible history, heartbreaking how they were completely abandoned when faster communication was invented
Given the fact that they mainly were a food source instead of noble mail carriers, perhaps having been abandoned in reality has not been that bad a fate...
Exactly.
They’re my favorite birds, personally. I’ve never quite experienced a calm like when feeding a bunch of pigeons in the middle of a city and they were just grateful, content, and friendly.
Plus the way they bob their heads when they walk is cute lol.
So that's why they live on the street, I see.
