Does there exist means to identify which deleted/removed post the comment in the screenshot was from or means to view that post as it was prior to its deletion/removal?

Mods typically include a post's content in the mod logs. Click the three .s under a post/comment on the right side, a drop-down should allow you to see what was logged for that post's removal and all other mod actions for that user.

The screenshot is from searching comments local to Lemmy.world. There are not three dots anywhere around the comment on that page. I’m also on mobile, and tapping a username to see their specific modlog actions apparently doesn’t work.

Oh, you do have to be logged in, look at the comment from your instance.
