This post is being recycled at the request of @Chrysanthemum@piefed.social to include PieFed users. After perusing through their [PieFed] website, I understand why some users prefer a client.

Thank you to all of you who shared your experiences which helped me out significantly. Because of that, I wanted to keep the comments instead of creating a new post so that others can benefit from it.

As of 24 August 2025, Blorp, Voyager and Mlem are the only ones that support PieFed that I know of.

  • Are you a Lemming? PieFed user? or Both?
  • Which apps have you used? Or currently using? Do you have a favorite? Why?
  • Would you recommend a PWA instead of a client? Why?
  • Any recommendations, tips, experiences you would like to share are appreciated!

*I am a Lemming (almost 2 months) using Arctic to read, Voyager to comment/post and Blorp to search. Why? Because Arctic loads more content, I’m used to Voyager (but open to change) and Blorp’s Search function… just functions! *

I've been a Lemmy user for a while and just created a Piefed account so I just started using Blorp. I like it.

I'm going to submit a bug report actually. It's been mostly fine, but occasionally it'll just freeze and crash when trying to view videos.

I'll submit the crash logs, hopefully it's easy to fix.
