B-side gaming is a community focused on alternative gaming. Like FOSS games, indie games, hobby games, homebrew. Additionally ROM Hacks, mods and game assets are allowed.

Related content from other federated platforms is pulled into the community with tags. Visible on mbin and piefed platforms.

Feel free to promote your own creations. NSFW content is allowed.

  1. Be polite and don't harass people that post their games or creations. If you do not like a game, explain in a constructive way what you do like about it. Do not just reply, "This game is crap."
  2. Promoting your own games is allowed, but do not spam the community with the same game over and over again. New updates are always welcome;

The developer in question, Anego Studios, is citing this catastrophe as the reason they're yanking their game, Vintage Story, from itch.io until further notice.

Explaining that Itch Corp has not paid out in "over three months", Anego Studios' Tyler Madlener took to Discord this morning in a pointed statement. Vintage Story will remain available for purchase on the Humble Store "without interruption", but with so much money quite literally on the line from ongoing revenue share, it's simple to see why this decision has been made.

Fair enough i guess if they don't think its a fair deal. I agree with you they'd probably more than make up the difference with exposure but perhaps by hey simply don't have ambitions beyond what they've already achieved.

Ironically Steam seems to actually pay what they owe as well...
