Tabletop Rpg posts, content, and recruitment posts.

Recruitment posts should contain what system is being played, CW for any adult/serious themes players need to be aware of and whether a game is beginner friendly.

An obvious reminder of no racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia.

Emphasis on small independent rpgs like the ones in the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas but not against dnd stuff.

I likely don't need to tell you but remember that dragons are very intelligent beings capable of advanced tactics. A fully grown dragon would have undoubtedly fought adventurers before and be aware of how different archetypes generally dress. The one wearing pyjamas carrying a stick is the scary one and dragons know it.

Very exciting. I remember actually using the colossal dragon miniature my DM had on his shelf and it was intense

Yeah, they're terrors - at least in 3.5, while Challenge Rating was always a bit of a joke since the developers barely understood their own system, Dragons were also deliberately under-rated in order to make sure they would be a challenge.

So the inventor turned it to paste. It started by trapping the weaker party members in a corner so it could breath attack them and then pick up easy crits on the basic strikes to recharge it, but the fucking inventor got all the crits instead and took off a full quarter of its health with each of their stupid 2(2d12+2d6)+1d12+1d10 damage. It went from over half health at the end of round 3 to dead in the middle of round 5.

This always happens when I get to play a smart enemy, I roll like dog shit at a critical time and one of them pulls out a string of crits. They were all lined up and half melted and they just spread it's brains across the ceiling.

"I'm not playing against the players, I'm playing with the players" I repeat to myself as they exclaim how easy it was to defeat the encounter I spent days working on

Ah yes. For me it's usually the barbarian getting all the crits on an otherwise insanely powerful enemy whp only anticipated a couple crits
