Are you about to tell me my emotions, fortune teller? Or just my beliefs, my intentions, my priorities, and how they're all wrong if only I'd just smile more, stop doom scrolling, and other things you dictate about me with as much evidence as your news posts have?

What rancid ideas? I'm just posting links to the articles. I don't write the news, nor do I make the news. I'm just the lowly Lemmy jester that no one cares about. No bother. Just here in my little walled garden that no one visits or likes. Not a problem to anyone at all.
Why do you think people would attack me or my "rancid ideas?" No one cares about me or visits this community. It's a dying walled garden, remember? Of course no one is attacking me or my ideas. No one cares. Remember? I'm no bother at all. :)
I'm not the only one in the world that thinks people should smile more and stop doom scrolling. I was just trying to be friendly and help out.
You, of course, are welcome to not smile and doomscroll all day every day. It won't stop me or affect me in any way. I smile all the time and laugh all the time, and I don't have any worries or stress.
But you want all that negativity, go for it. Or be happy. Either way, has nothing to do with me.
