Not sure I buy "organ" as a means to something. Also I was trying to fit "carbon ___" as a group, and I was wondering if I'd just forgotten that carbon tetracycline was a common thing.

Hm, Merriam also lists "organs of government" but I've never heard either phrase. Guess I missed it by not paying attention to politics for the first 25 years of my life.
