They didn't like the thunder one bit this afternoon when i got home. But the thunder has stopped, the rain has let up, and we are settling in for a cozy night.
We have a lot of stray cats on my block, and i saw one that i call Boots staring at me, shaking his little white boot at me while i was having a smoke, letting me know he was hurt. I was so heartbroken and thought of my little girls, so I brought him a whole can of food. There are plenty of safe spaces around here, so hopefully he can find a place to lay low and heal.

Maybe it was just the weed, but i felt so guilty that my cats were warm and cozy while that poor guy was out there, hurt and wet. I can't afford to give him a whole can of food since my girls split half of one every day, but if i see him again I'll give him the other half. The stray cats on my block seem to be pretty healthy so hopefully he is doing alright
