Explanation: In Biblical mythology, the Tower of Babel was a construction made with the intention of reaching the heavens - which so angered the Jewish God YHWH that he cursed mankind with different languages, so no one could understand each other and construction could not efficiently continue.

Christians, and I guess Muslims too, believe in the same myth of the Babel Tower.

Muslims don't. Or, well, more accurately as with everything else in the Bible it's a neither confirm nor deny position, but Islam has absolutely nothing to say about Babylon.
