I think the keyword filters are just for posts, at least for the client I'm using (Thunder). However I would love if comment filtering was a thing.

Some apps do have comment foltering by keywords such as Summit! (Disclaimer: I am the developer)

Interesting. I'm going to give it a try. I've been wanting something that has more powerful filtering capabilities.
