While it's clearly inspired by Ghibli (and Nausicaa), in-game it doesn't feel egrarious.
I think the intro trailer (it wasn't available during EA) makes it seem like a bigger issue than it is.
At any rate, the actually made their own design, it's not just an AI slop rip-off.
