At some point in the early 90s companies decided to start spinning their consumer abuses as 'for your benefit', and it has basically caused me to ignore all public corporate announcements as manipulative bullshit

In a sane culture there would be regulations preventing things like this, but in our corporate friendly modern world they will never suffer consequences.

We hare just a cash crop for them to harvest and burn
