Do you think everyone sees the same things you do? No, I didn't, and I'm very skeptical anyone posted that. Buy, hey maybe they did. Doesn't make it a significant/widespread viewpoint. What I'm saying though is that if a person doesn't hold leftist viewpoints, they aren't on the left.

It was an example. Check my comment history if you want, it should be somewhere in there and yes it was applauded. There are lots of people that are economically / fanatically leftist but aren't progressive, especially here on Lemmy.

If being uneducated overrode political affiliation Trump supporters wouldn't be right wingers neither

We live in different worlds...

Also.. wat?

If being uneducated overrode political affiliation Trump supporters wouldn’t be right wingers neither

The point is that you could only be so bigoted if you're uneducated. So it seems like we agree on that but you're speaking as though we don't.

Complete non sequitur that seemed amusingly absurd:

The point is that you could only be so bigoted if you're uneducated.

My brain first interpreted that to mean that, at a certain level if bigotry, one must pursue some form of education to fulfill the prerequisites of increasing bigotry further. Like the Bigotry Police show up stating "We're sorry sir but, you can't apply for the position of Grand Wizard until you've finished at least three semesters in upper-division Xenophobic Studies. Now, we're going to let you off with a warning this time but, if you apply for the role again without proper credentials, we are going to have to cite you."

Lol okay. For a sec I thought you were the other commenter and I was very confused.

Understandable. Felt that we could all use a bit of silliness to give a momentary break from the awfulness.
