Terrible attempt at journalism. They can't stop themselves from implying that the "woke city" (whatever that means) owns the building and only admit that it's actually owned by a hedge fund and a property management corp below the fold.
You know exactly what woke means and what it means in the context of this story. Now you may not like the word, you may not agree with people using the word, but you know what it means.
I don't, actually. "Woke" seems to mean something different to everyone I ask.

There is no "gotcha" here, just a very simple and direct question. If that feels like a loaded question to you then it must mean that your personal definition of "woke" is something you feel too ashamed to share in public for some reason..

I know how I use the term on the rare occasion it is called for, it's your personal definition and therefore your own honor that is at stake here.
