Bullshit! He was chewing up Jan's leg pretty good, and outstruck him on the feet. More importantly, he managed to get back to his feet against the larger and better wrestler, and did so without gassing that much.
Smith has some of the worst takes in the sport, second only to the undefeated P4P king Chael Sonnen himself..
I agree with this being a bit of a bs take, but I wasn't too impressed with Pereira in his striking.
Maybe he felt afraid of the takedown, but he didn't land too much and got hit a bit. Not sure how he will do against the harder hitters.
Yeah, I felt the same way.
I think he was somewhat gassed out himself, and was kinda skittish of closing in after his last fight. That said, Jan is definitely one of the harder hitters at LHW, and idk if Jiri & Hill hit harder, so I think Poatan's chin should hold up fine.
Not hating on Jan but he doesn't have that many knockouts and I'd say that both Jiri and Hill hit harder.
But that's just my opinion.
Fair enough.
