This is the situation: I have a manual Corolla which she likes but can't drive. He has a auto Camry which she practices in but hates. So I was willing to sacrifice my car so she could have one.

But.....

The man doesn't want to give mine up because it has only done 120k's and it's a good car in good condition. What he wants to do is run his into the ground then take mine. I'm like "ok" because I really don't care as long as I can go about my business occasionally and the kid gets a car to drive me to the pub when she gets her licence.

Apart from car makes...this is exactly my situation.

My Camry (fucking rocks) is solid as. Wife drives manual and kids ain't keen to learn.

Camry does rock. Not so great for petite women.

At the end of the day you gotta let go so your kids can experience life.
