it never occurred to them that US bad when it invaded countries abroad?
I’m paraphrasing but Angela Merkel was asked why she supports sanctions on Russia for “invading” Crimea even though the US does it all the time… and she responded something like, “We know the Americans are bad but they never do anything to us.”
