I also think Democrats, and especially Lemmy, use it wrong. It's legit the go-to insult for anyone that doesn't join in on the circle-jerk groupthink that Lemmy has going on these days.
Lemmy is a collective of uninformed Maoists. Probably young and never had any responsibility. Wait till they have a family and need to pay taxes. That exorcises the Marxist out of any sensible creature.
Lemmy's demographics are considerably older than other similar sites like reddit.
