Why not just request mod controls from l.w.? I could understand choosing an alternative if the comm was abandoned or bloated with spam, but this community is already active, so why move it?
I think having one central instance is bad for the fediverse as a whole.
But your account is 4 hours old. Why should I leave this established community with many users to go to a new one run by a new account?
I have simply switched instances. The server owner for autism.place disappeared one day, and that instance went under. As for leaving LW it is as i've mentioned above an occasion to de-centralise the fediverse a little.
You speak rationally but I have an aversion to change
