I think the fact that car deaths are skyrocketing in the US and the UK is even more absurd since modern cars are supposedly "safer" with all of their safety tech.

SUV vs. Bicycle: cyclist dead.

Not for UK, cyclists is the only category which stay the same between 2022/2021.

Then using UK, one of the countries with the lowest deathtoll on the roads in Europe, beside the US, is a bit of a stretch.
