His America First policy is starting off real interesting with backing H1Bs, literally a program that allows foreign workers to take jobs that could be filled by American workers.

I don’t really have much of an opinion on whether H1B is good or not, but it’s definitely not America First.

H1Bs, literally a program that allows foreign workers to take jobs that could be filled by American workers.

Note that we got endless horror stories of recent grads not being able to get jobs. We also got some mid levels having hard time getting jobs.

Then these parasites go on national news and tell American worker is he a lazy piece of shit for not taking lower compensation and working free OT.

H1Bs don't complain.

If you are not aware... this is what a class war looks like. W2 slaves losing YUGE.

Yea and those damn Americans want enough pay to cover their massive student loans, what selfish bastards. Better to bring in foreign workers you can threaten with deportation and pay a third the pay.

Ok I might have an opinion on H1B

pay a third the pay.

I know you are being cheekey but before regime whores start

well akshually, the law requires for them to be paid same as american, and they are only hired if there is no qualified american for the job 🤡

Corpos buying salary studies to "set the market" rate for jobs, so yeah year 1, H1B will be paid about whatever that corpo comissioned study says. You tell me how much you would trust such a study.

But even if we take it face value... American worker is barely able to negotiate pay increases, how much do you think H1B will get?

Only practical way to get pay increase is to switch jobs. How much of that job switching can H1B actually do... hmm

Nice system they got going for themselves...

Also, they refuse to hire American for these fake rates which they then use to justify hiring H1Bs lol

Death by 1000 thousand cuts.
