This is George speak, this is not something Max said either, it just does not sound right. But if you think about how George would phrase this sentence then it absolutely 100% tracks. This is his version of what he thinks Max would say and sound like and he formulated that sentence in his head, ready to be used in public to try and steer the conversation and "guilt" towards Max.
The more I think about it the more I realize how much of a snake that little boy george is...

Perhaps the one you should be complaining about is the one who took complaining to the stewards (something which Max also does any time he can gain an advantage, just like any other driver. In fact he did it to Lando literally the day after.) as a reason to throw his toys out of the pram and threaten to crash his competitor out head-first into a wall...

No, I replied with the retort because you're clearly projecting.
You're here and elsewhere acting like Max can do no wrong and as if this isn't something he'd say, when it absolutely is. He has form on this, being the most aggressive and dirtiest driver on the grid. You're also dutch. Clearly you are Verstappen's target audience.
