Claimed to be a Russian FPV anti-drone with machine vision and auto-targeting.

Evolutionarily, this is an expected solution. All UAV countermeasures will evolve towards the physical destruction of targets, rather than suppression, as only this is guaranteed to neutralize the threat.

The big question is whether the semi-autonomous system really works on the videos shown, or it is more propaganda, but the fact that we need to invest much more in the development of our unmanned technologies is a fact.

The state should initiate this in working with partners who have a very significant technological potential.

Where will they source all the electronics they need to roll out this device in any relevant numbers? China?

A cheap Allwinner SoC has enough compute to do what they're showing. So, yeah, China.
