This just reads to me like he did something super illegal, and his only hope to avoid arrest is a Trump win.
Why would he care? Trump is evidence that the rich and powerful never need to face any actual consequences. Even after being convicted of 43 felonies, the dude is running around free, campaigning for president with impunity and zero consequences.
