In Candyman, the scene where Tony Todd had bees flying out of his mouth were REAL BEES. Todd only agreed to do the scene if they pay him $1000 for every bee sting. He earned $27,000 for that scene (files.catbox.moe)

The 27k this article references is for the bee stings the actor endured. Which more than likely happened over a few takes spread over a day. At an 8 hour work day, he made $3375 an hour that day.
