Part of me just can't help put this in the frame-of-reference of the Iraq War.
I'm forced to imagine a bunch of terminally online war geeks clapping and cheering every time the Pentagon announced another big operation in Haditha or a re-occupation of Fallujah.
Trying to square that with the absolute horror of a war sent my head spinning then. And not much has changed since.
You're welcome to fuck off if you can't handle it.
In the meantime, allow us to cheer for Ukraine while it defends itself from a genocidal russia.
