I'd love to hear how AI helped. Too bad the article doesn't say anything about that because most of them aren't using AI and specifically highlighted that fact.

The tech specifically mentioned in the article and called "AI" has been around since the 1970's. Its just a database lookup. SQL.

It seems like these municipal governments are telling on themselves for using vibe coded software for which better alternatives have been available for at least the last 50 years.

No. I won't believe it until I see it. All I've seen is people saying AI is the next thing, but every time I look at the data it just doesn't pan out.
