MacKinnon, McDavid and probably Makar.
But in my heart, Keifer Sherwood. (I'm a Canucks fan, it's a dark time, please let me just have this.)
I predict, whoever buys Sherwood wins the cup and he goes PPG in the playoffs.
That's a beautiful and completely accurate prediction.
Excluding McDavid; Mackinnon, Crosby, Pastrnak
Nathan Mckinnon, Cale Makar, Macklin Celebrini.
Interesting you didn't include McDavid, what's your reasons?
Team performance has something to do with it, Edmonton are 24th in the league right now, 10th in the western conference after going to back to back Stanley Cup finals. I think he's taken a step back this year compared to the last few, he's tied for first in assists (with Celebrini) but he's 18th in goals.
He's still an incredible player and I'd probably put him in 4th or 5th, but I think Celebrini has (currently) got the edge on him as a forward (and he's only 19) and Makar and Mckinnon are absolutely on fire in Colorado right now.
Wallstadt, the goalie in Minnesota, is also having an incredible season so far.
That's really interesting thanks
