[off topic]

You have to stand in awe of the chutzpah of George Santos.

Convicted criminal acting like he's a moral exemplar.

Even the rest of the Republicans wouldn't piss on George Santos if he were on fire. That's kind of impressive given their affinity for scumbags and criminals.

What I came to say! Imagine a Republican so morally bankrupt that even the GOP wouldn't circle wagons for him. Hell, they put up with MTG, Boebert and Matt Gaetz had to fire himself.

That guy is action-packed with undiagnosed mental illness.

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago

Mostly delusions of grandeur.

See also the whining about the hundreds of cops quitting the NYPD after Zohran's election, as if it's a bad thing that that particular gang is hemorrhaging pieces of walking garbage.

They won't quit because they want their city retirement. It's always been a threat but not the one they say they're implying blue fluing which is why it should be mandatory to live in the area you police like it used to be.

I'd feel bad if I didn't think his so-called 'family' was imaginary. Also that he needs to leave because his freshly pardoned ass can't afford to live there anymore.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

Pardons are expensive.

He's only out because the check cleared.

[–] darkdemize@sh.itjust.works 32 points 1 week ago

Always nice when the trash takes itself out.

[–] Grandwolf319@sh.itjust.works 24 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Funny but idk if I trust him leaving, he lies a lot.

I don't know, conmen usually have to move around regularly to find new marks.

[–] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

And to avoid consequences!

[–] favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 23 points 1 week ago

Criminals hate Mamdani? He must be a standup guy.

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Wait, which family is he talking about? The wife he may or may not still be married to or the boyfriend that he (sometimes) claims as a husband despite no records existing of their union?

Hard to keep up with his lies.

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago

... I just realized that this might just be another lie for the pile.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Truth and honesty are always abhorrent to evil liars

[–] Geobloke@aussie.zone 5 points 1 week ago

[–] uberdroog@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Behold, an outcast so slimey he got thrown out of office and shunned.

...And he's trending on Twitter. He's getting clicks and into people's feeds.

This is why whe don't use Twitter. Don't feed the trolls.

[–] PugJesus@piefed.social 9 points 1 week ago

Mamdani is really hitting the ground running 😭🙏

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Great for New York but bad for where he ends up.

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

To be fair, this guy's whole life feels like an own goal, let alone this one comment.
