Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

Anything short of direct democracy is not really democracy at all. All that work for them to say “We hear you. We just don’t care”

There was a meme going around not too long ago of a mocked-up generic UK petition for "Good thing", it had millions of signatures, and the government responded: "No"

The law doesn't stop companies from stealing purchased games from their customers via live service discontinuation, so no, it doesn't work.

Bunch of fucking liars. The law doesn't work if something purchased can be stolen. Oh wait, it works for the wealthy as usual.
