I hope Newcastle United lose today. I hate how they're getting the premier TV slot in the US.

Newcastle :) karma?

Hate that I now want Chelsea to win 5-0 tomorrow... but I do. lol.

I'll take 1-0 too, i'm not that picky, but

Trying out a tool that apparently c/MarvelStudios uses for the match thread, if it works properly could be helpful for if I can't be fucked to wake up (looking at you, 7:30 am ET games). If I'm around I'll usually still be posting them myself, and for the post-match i'll probably be doing it as well, just a heads up that that's gonna happen to test! I'll be around for like, the first half, before I need to head out for an early lunch with folks, so it's a good time to test methinks.

What tool is it? I tried to use Lemmy Schedule a few times to do rival watches and it only worked some of the time

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I think it might be the same one lol, it's called schedule.lemmings.world

Just trying it out, I'll be around anyway

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yeah, that's the one. Hopefully it works better when you have moderator privileges, someone was saying that that might affect it.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah maybe. It's just going to be a fail safe later on, I'm just testing it today.

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Christ, Wolves are just peppering the goal with low quality shots.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Well, sustained pressure worked. Luck finally running out for a cock and ball

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Cock and ball torture is back on the menu

Fucking fuck the shit

As an Aussie, it's been infuckingsufferable seeing every single fucking Australian corporation trying to cash in on Ange being a quality manager by pretending to support Spurs the football team.

Like fuck off, let him prove himself but this club isn't going to fucking win so stop worshipping the ground they walk on.

Oh believe me, as a Korean dude I'm right there with you. I get so much shit whenever I go to watch Korea matches because I don't support "the best Korean player ever". Bad enough that we call ourselves the Red fucking Devils...

Yeah, and the Korean national team's supporters group is called the Red Devils. Not directly because of United, but it still makes me a little salty.

Edit: Actually, it's probably because of Park Ji-Sung who played for them during the aughties and that just makes me even more mad

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

ohhhhh fuck em lol

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

They're spursy, what can I say

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Nothing more to be said. /spurs

Come on Bournemouth, HOLD THE LEAD!

Can Lokonga be recalled in Jan if we really need a 8 but can't find anyone?

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

We don't need one though. 8 is probably our most stacked spot — Ødegaard, Havertz, ESR, Vieira, Trossard, Rice, can all play there, which should be more than plenty unless we sell ESR or something. Plus like, Nwaneri could get game time in the early FA Cup depending on our draw imo.

Should be more worried about our defence. With Tomi going to the Asian Cup, we'll be down to 5 fit defenders (6 if Timber comes back super fast ig, and 7 if you count Cedric which I don't). Not good enough, cuz the margins become super thin then. Also some concern over our 6, cuz I think we should really be selling Partey cuz he's so inconsistent both in availability and performance — and then if Jorginho and Elneny aren't renewed we're in a really tight spot.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

also, not sure that Lokonga will even be fit in January :p

Zlatan-esque flick off a rebound

[–] coygsu@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

BOURNEMOUTH DOUBLE!

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

What did I say about Sean Dyche, man. Good fucking manager.

Hammarby win the league, thereby giving our lass Cooney-Cross a medal, love to see it

And Hacken, the 2nd place team, won their game 4-0 today. Must be one of the most depressing 4-0 wins ever.
