And i don't mean stuff like deepfakes/sora/palantir/anything like that, im talking about why the anti-genai crowd isn't providing an alternative where you can get instant feedback when you're journaling

I think you're thinking of LLMs. GenAI is the stuff that makes deepfakes and "art"; LLMs make text.

I thought LLMs are just one type of GenAI. They all generate new media content based on existing media content. LLMs just specialize on text, while the other types of GenAI specialize in other types of media. At least that's how I understand the terms.

You might be right. Looks like LLMs are a subset of GenAI.
