In mob parlance, what Donald Trump is doing is called a 'bust out.'

Once the mob gets control of an established enterprise, say a restaurant or a car dealership, the mob has no reason to continue doing business as usual. Instead they 'bust out' the business for a big, quick profit. They make massive orders and then re-sell to their buddies at a huge discount. They don't have to worry about paying back the suppliers, because the business isn't in their names and they won't be legally responsible.

Yep. I have a friend that does hotel renovations, which are usually required by the franchise every x years. Those are getting pushed off and her work is drying up.

Trump and the 0.001% aren't getting hurt.

The small business owners and their employees are the ones who will get clobbered.

many of those goes to florida, and other places like texas which are dependant on tourism. florida is going to suffer the most. I dont think vegas is part of it, since they have been declining for years before the pandemic.
