Trump basically told China to fuck off, so they did. Don't try framing China as the bad guys here. Trump made trade with the USA simply untenable.

Soybean Farmers: My hero! Trump was right about everything!

Basically what's happening. Trade war with China, China buys from Brazil and Argentina, Soy farmers make zero sales, meanwhile Trump sends Argentina $20 billion, and is planning a $10 billion bailout for the soy farmers he fucked over.

But those sales aren't coming back, and this "bailout" will buy him midterms, after which corps buy up all the farms and consolidate them.
