So this new memo essentially equates opposition to what the king says to domestic terrorism.
The “common threads” of these “domestic terrorist” groups “include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity,” as well as “extremism on migration, race, and gender, and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality."
I'm 100% sure most MAGA are going to do what they always do in this situation, and deny that this could ever be used to hurt the "wrong people."
I'm also 100% sure if this gets enforced the way the administration is hoping, it will be used to target any political opposition to GOP policies.
We've seen Mike Johnson literally dismiss Congress early to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files. On the day Charlie Kirk was murdered, Republicans in the House and Senate once again blocked a vote to release the files. Of course nobody noticed due to everything else that happened that day (which coincidentally, is also the day that seems to have kicked off the trajectory of this memo).
I'm not sure what you would call continued demands to release the Epstein files at this point if not "political opposition?"
I know what I'd call it. So, welcome aboard comrade!
