Release another popular show and people will come back. Political activism by not watching tv is the bottom of the barrel.

MONEY is all they care about. So it matters.

Political activism by withdrawing payment is the most powerful form of activism.

I remember French Revolution being a tat more than cancelling a Star Wars account.

[–] Ulrich@feddit.org 2 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I don't understand what that's supposed to mean.

It means the only way to get shit moving is to chop heads.

Can they? At least on the marvel and star wars side they've been releasing pure garbage.

Unfortunately I can't cancel, as I'm not a subscriber. I'll at least go and hammer refresh on their cancellation page with caching turned off.

... and I added abc.com and disney+ to dns rewrite in my network to group pointing to ip 666.666.666.666. So no disney for anyone visiting our accommodation and outdoor adventures. They can watch it over their own data.

One single page crashed? Crazy!

[–] Crazyslinkz@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Well that page should be controlled by a load balancer sent to several servers to handle the load. Strange for a corporation at that level to not mitigate traffic and get ddos by its customers.

In a company with their money? When their service is made to handle huge amounts of data for streaming? Yeah, pretty crazy.
